I am considering buying the as100s, can anyone tell what this guitar is like? Is it available in a matt finish? i would also like to know the rrp of the guitar. i have seen it for £350, is this a good price? Any help will be much appreciated

This guitar has a solid sitka top with laminated mahogany back and sides and rosewood fingerboard. It is not available in matt finish. It is probably best if I quote Matthew Wig from his "GUITARIST" review of October 2003 when he awarded this guitar a 5 star GUITARIST CHOICE award.
"Our final verdict here is pretty straightforward. At any price we would recommend the Avalon Silver Series models as meticulously assembled acoustics with excellent tone , but as mid - priced guitars they are nothing short of phenominal. And its safe to say that weve never encountered a finer sounding new acoustic for under £500 than the AS100. "
The list price is £399 this does not include case so I think £350 is something of a bargain!
