differences between silver and gold series

I bought my Avalon guitar AS201 two month ago and I'm very happy with it. The handling and the sound of this guitar are in my opinion really good and I love to play this guitar.

What I would like to know is what are the main differences between my model from the silver series and the equivalent model from the gold or even legacy series. I know that my guitar isn't handbuild like the others and is produced in corea(sorry, but that is the explanation for the price). Also the fretboard is rosewood instead of ebony and the back and sites are laminated instead of massive.

But how does this affect the sound and handling? Are there differences in the dimensions and sizes(as I understand it the guitars are build with the same construction plan as in ireland)? Is there a difference in the quality of woods?

I would be glad if someone could answer these questions,

the differences are as you state, the silvers have r/w f/bosrd not ebony and laminated back and sides not solid, and of course are not hand made. They are supplied w/o hard case - we supply Hiscox case with the Irish made guitars which would retail at over £100. The Gold model therefore offer more refinement visually and sonically together with a lomited lifetime warranty. The Silvers are w/o doubt the best value for money £400plus guitar on the market!

so the main difference is the handmade aspect including the better adjustement and inspection.
materials(except fretboard) and construction plan (dimension, neck width at nut etc.) are mainly comparable.
last week I saw the Jaques Stotzem guitar in a guitar shop and I understand what you mean.

maybe I "upgrade" my equipment in the near future with such an impressing handmade model, but first I have to improve my skills in guitar playing
