'Prototype' Avalon on eBay?

What's the story on this one? I'd have thought as a prototype it would have sold for much more than £256?

This guitar is a prototype so it's the only one ever made.

The guitar does not have a model number or a serial number due to it being a prototype.

Made of solid Rose wood.

It was a prototype for the Silver series, a very nice guitar too as far as I can remember, I reckon someone is going to pick up a great solid wood guitar for a price that'll not break the bank
