know anything on this AVALON guitar??

Postby Fuya » 09 Feb 2011, 18:37

I'm sorry I may not use English perfectly..
I came across AVALON as I was looking for my new guitar and completely attracted by this guitar.

http://photos.yahoo.co.jp/ph/insomnia_e ... t&.hires=t

It was described as "A320ce"
but that should be it. http://cgi.ebay.com/AVALON-A320CE-ACOUS ... _786wt_868

It's not listed on the AVALON's website and I've never seen an AVALON guitar with florentine cutaway except for it.
Does anyone know about this guitar?
Is this a reall AVALON guitar or not?

Thanks.

Hi Fuya, welcome to the forums.

Yes it certainly looks like one of our guitars, we make some models with 'sharp' cutaways just for the fun of it or sometimes for customer orders too but they won't always be listed online :)

Looks lovely too :)

If you can get me the serial number I can give you more information.

Hi JB

The serial no. for this guitar is L-01435.

Nope, not psychic, just that you can see it if you use the magnifier option on one of the soundhole pictures ! :D

Hi Fuya, Thank you for posting the pictures of you're beautiful guitar, it seems you were both meant to be together. I loved to know the full storey, like do you live in the states "USA" or are you in Japan etc. I'd also like to know what strings you're using, and I'm sure it's sounds as good as it looks.
