Can I add a pickup after I buy a normal acoustic guitar?

Hi,

This might sound like a stupid question but I have an A101.

Is it possible to add a pickup to the guitar like a Fishman Prefix or would that destroy it all?

Hi Justin and welcome to the forums

The Fishman pick-up is a good choice for your A101, that's what we use as standard anyway.
You'll find a rosewood shim under the saddle already that can be removed when fitting the pick-up ... the shim is the same thickness as the pick-up so that the installation can be done and the string height remain the same

We can do it in the factory but good music stores with an in-house tech can do this as well if you find one closer to home.
