My Avalon

I have had my Avalon D-201 for about a year now and I just thought I would list some of the comments I've received about this guitar.

Recently playing a worship set the piano player stops and said "I can hear your guitar just cutting through and it sounds AMAZING"

I play with my friend for acoustic sets and he plays a 70's Martin and he says the avalon blows his out of the water in both tone and playability

When I had my pickup installed the tech said it was the nicest guitar he has ever played

At this point everywhere I play people are in awe of the overall tonality of the guitar. I am loving this guitar more and more each day, I play a couple of hours a day and it is a joy to play all the time. I picked this guitar over all the Taylor's, Gibson's, Martin's, and Collings' I looked at.

I know its Czech but it sounds amazing. I can't wait until I can get an Irish one

Hi ptack, great to hear you and everyone else loves the sound of your D-21.--------I play a 201CE made in Korea and it sounds wonderful.

I don't think because your guitar was made in Czech would make much difference---this guitars no-matter where they are made sound amazing--I think the Avalon folk go there and say "this is the way we build them" if they set up shop in the USA I'd expect the same quality.

I'm sure someone will let us know---still great to hear your enjoying your guitar.

Yeah but, Furch is an excellent builder in his own right. There are a lot raves of his work - Furch, Stonebridge and Stanford guitars. And, the Czech Gold's.
