I have just tried an "Avalon" ......and I thought that it was some cheap poxy make ...( didn't see the price tag)...........and I was amazed, the quality was superb, the action and feel was "weighty" and the sound was superb........on the same day I tried a Breedlove and Taylor...and frankly they didn't come close.nowhere near :D :D
I do different tunings.dropped D and G how does an Avalon hold up to that...I worry about "quality guitars" and alternative tunings..........but what can I say I want one..Now 8)

hello jorvik and welcome to the forums :)

i'm glad you were impressed by our guitars, we get that a lot

dropped tunings are no problem, we've a lot of traditional irish players over here that buy our guitars that mainly play dropped tuning variations :)

I use a lot of alternate tunings, such as cgdgad, cgcgcd plus a whole lot of weird ones for William ackerman pieces. The A320 sustain on the open strings is fantastic and makes the guitar a joy to play.
