Filling the hole!

I recently recieved an Avalon guitar. So far I havnt put it down and it really shows me the difference in tone between it and others. It's. Just sooooo superior. Although it had a faulty pickup and so that was removed and is left with two wholes which I think look awesome and unique but I know ( because I'm increably picky) that this opion won't last.

The question I'm asking is what is best to fill the holes. There is one were a control panel for a pickup would be and there is one were the jack would be .

I was told I could fit a new pickup or get a plaque. Any other ideas, and how much would that cost ??
