I'll be upgrading from the Epiphone FT145 my mother bought back in the Late 70's. It's served me well, but the neck has all but fallen off. I've always been tempted to buy a new guitar but wanted to hold on for something beautiful - finally its coming.
I've got a fishman rare earth blend that I'll be transfering across to my avalon which should make it sound like a dream - i really can't wait!!
I will be using my guitar for leading worship in Sheffield for the next 2 months, but am moving with my wife to New Zealand in June to take a post as Worship leader out there. Its all very exciting, and Ill look forward to taking my new Avalon with me
