Avalon in a lowden case?

Postby lewddude » 15 Feb 2009, 15:34

So I have been meaning to ask... I know my A12 is around the transition time, but did Avalons ship out in Lowden cases back then? (2004) Mine says lowden on the top, and there is a sticker on the handle that reads "Lowden F"

as far as I know. The guitar is not that old, and I can't see the need to replace a hiscox that soon, but that is why I ask. Cuz I don't know for sure.

To my knowledge Lewd no Avalon's were shipped in Lowden cases however if the guitar was bought by a dealer from a show like NAMM then there is a chance that a guitar could be put in the wrong case at the shows end ... packing up time at a NAMM show is some experience  reminds me of 'Wacky Races'
