Ok, so now that I have had some good QT with my new(Dec 2004) A12 I thought I would post my thoughts. It is one of the most responsive acoustics I have ever played! I touch it, and the sound just jumps out! It has a bit of fret board shrinkage, so the fret edges need some TLC. But it is after all a 5 year old new guitar...lol, and it is more beautiful than any picture can show. I am guessing the 5 years aging before playing allowed it to open up vs playing it for the first time 3 days after it was a tree?

The celtic knot on the headstock is a perfect touch. The A series is the perfect size/balance for me. The neck is nice and full. Again the sound is WONDERFUL, and it is an absolute joy to play. True "daddy's Therapy". I have no electronics, nor do I plan to. No cutaway. I take this into my bathroom and wow! just put a mic in there with me, and no need for electronics. Just what I needed, another reason to spend more time in the john!!!

Bravo to you boys at Avalon! Perfect in every way.
From deep in my soul, THANK YOU!
Ron aka Lewd Dude!
