A new Euro price list will be available from next week, to supply you with the old one would give you very unrealistic pricing after the recent castration of the GBP !!

Hi JB
Happy new year to you!
The recent castratione of the GBP allowed me to buy that avalon at 650 £+shipping on ebay.
I always check for avalon, second hand of course, my dream has always been a lowden, but, as an employe, and spare time luthier, I could never afford a good one at a cheap price.
Now that I have this Avalon I cannot imagine how much better would be a Lowden, any model, any price...I mean, I can't believe there's another better sounding guitar.
Sometimes I get fascinated by Taylors, (I don't like Martins), but I had a strong feeling and sensation about the Avalon and I was right.
The purpose is to collect some steel strings, and the Avalons are the perfect union price-quality.
It has no sense to spend 10.000 £ for an Olsen, or for an old Martin, I don't think my ears could hear the differences between them, and my Avalon, which, further, plays magnificently with odd alternate tunings I use a lot(See...Hedges and other followers)
I recently bought some guitars from an Ebay Taiwanese dealer,I won't post links or names, maybe it's forbidden here, and for the price of 400 £ including a cheap hard case I have high quality al solid wood OM or Jumbo guitars, maybe have slight defects, maybe too much Abalon(NOT AVALON) inlays, but....DAMN they sound great!!!
I would suggest them to anybody,....for that price.
I sold a couple of them( I have now 6) and my customers are sooo satisfied.
I'm a bit logorroic today, sorry , and my english is not so good, but I like this forum.
Where can I find the old price list? Or will there be a speficic post for a new one?
Thanks
Alessandro
P.S.
For the Avalon Staff and workers...don't worry, I'm not stealing any slice of your market , I just build Classical Concert Guitars..
